This project involved comprehensive ventilation cleaning for an industrial processing facility in Peninsular Malaysia during a scheduled plant shutdown window.

Inadequate maintenance access panels in several duct sections
Hydrocarbon-laden particulates are particularly concerning in refinery environments, as they can accumulate in confined spaces and contribute to reduced airflow efficiency and potential ignition risk.
Execution Challenges
Industrial refinery projects require structured coordination and strict procedural control. Key challenges included:

Technical Execution
The methodology incorporated:
Mechanical duct agitation combined with high-capacity negative air extraction
Exhaust duct cleaning in process areas exposed to hydrocarbon particulates
AHU internal chamber cleaning, including blower sections and coil surfaces
Filter chamber deep cleaning to prevent recontamination
Installation of compliant access panels to improve long-term maintenance accessibility
Comprehensive photographic documentation was captured pre- and post-cleaning to support compliance tracking and asset records.
